All of the therapists/counselors are licensed professionals who have received extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Group therapies include: Anxiety Group, Impulse Control Group, Co-Dependency Group, Dual Diagnosis, Illness Awareness, Mind-Body-Spirit, and Women's Support Group, among others. The Adult Unit is open five days a week, including four days with evening hours.
There is a licensed therapist and doctor on site five days per week.
One specialty service provided is the Intensive Outpatient Program. This program provides intensive services in a highly structured and supervised setting. Group therapy includes such topics as anxiety, co-dependency, medication education, family issues, stress management, dual diagnosis, anger issues, discharge planning and daily living, among others. The program runs four to five days a week for three hours per day. A staff psychiatrist is on site for consultation and medication monitoring. Transportation is provided from several points in the community.
Mobile Treatment Services provides in-home services to residents in the community who are either unable or unwilling to access traditional mental health services in the Outpatient Center. A registered nurse and licensed therapist meet with the participant weekly in their home or other designated location. Services include individual and/or family therapy, medication monitoring, health assessments, and linkage with other agencies or services in the community.
